Pure indulgence. 

This week I got to indulge in my cake making passion, sugar flowers. I’ve mentioned here before my horticultural background. And I know that’s where the love of flowers comes from. 

I had two wedding cakes this week! Cakes seem to be like busses, nothing then several at once! But they were both such pretty ideas that I had to do them. 

And so I closed the cake nook door and made flowers. Pure indulgence for me. And these are the results. I needs to get better at my photo skills now! 

The cakes were: 

Three tier one chocolate with whipped chocolate ganache, Madagascan vanilla and strawberry and caramel with salted caramel buttercream.

The two tier Madagascan vanilla and lemon.
